With a plethora of players available for the opening round, team selections on Thursday night will be as frenetic as the action on the track. First week we will be trying to fit almost 200 players into 150 spots so there will be seven very strong sides that will be representing the Beach this Saturday.

We would like to welcome all sponsors, new and old, to the great community culture of North Beach Football Club, and invite you to come on down and enjoy the atmosphere and be part of our continuing success. The Club is fortunate to again have former Norm Smith Medallist and Essendon Premiership Player Bill Duckworth as our Senior Club Coach. Bill has led the A grade to six straight flags, and has the extraordinary record of nine premierships from the last 11.  Michael Pratt extends his tenure as A Reserve Coach with Kane Koenen and Steve Morrissey swapping roles from last year as E and E Reserve Coaches. Peter Panagapoulous again takes the reins as Coach of the “G-Bangers”, whilst John Boys (Phil Scott) and the duo of Gary Stocks and Dave Barwick (Brett Jones) continue their mentoring of the Colts.

Players to watch will be Chris Pahl from SA, Mitch Holbrook, Captain Chris Pearce, ex WAFL players Dean Brennan and Aaron Jarvis, “The King” Chris Perkin and colts products Josh Bollen, Alex Billi, Matt Power (who has returned from a successful season in Kalgoorlie) and Michael Italiano.
