The North Beach Football Club has finalised its coaching structure with the appointment of Dean Logan, who has a strong background in player development as the women’s coach, and Jack Flynn assuming the role of fourth grade coach.
All positions – outside of the colts and senior coaching roles – were advertised, with the appointments of Logan and Flynn to replace David Cassidy and Chris Humphrey, whose efforts over the last two seasons were commendable.
The club would like to acknowledge David and Chris for their efforts in that time.
Logan had a brief stint with the club assisting with the colts program a couple of years ago before work commitments saw him return to Sydney.
His playing background was built in Tasmania, but it is his extensive history and achievements in player development that is most appealing, including the 2012 NSW/ACT coach of the year.
He was also football development manager for the Forest Lions, was a premier division assistant coach at Manly Warringa and under-19 senior coach at that club in 2015-16.
Flynn is a North Beach stalwart who is looking forward to his first venture into coaching, where he will work with Glen Hinkley, Novak Smith and Will Hooper.
