Incomparable North Beach coaching legend Bill Duckworth has recommitted to the Tigers as he seeks to extend the club’s record breaking run of success.

The man who has guided the Beach to 10 of the last 12 A-Grade premierships, including the last seven in succession, will again guide the club in 2011.

Again he will be assisted by A-Reserves coach Michael Pratt, who is also backing up from a premiership triumph. The task of tutoring the Phil Scott Colts will fall to Gary Stocks and David Barwick after John Boys, who guided the under-19s to successive finals campaigns, was forced to step down because of business commitments.

The E-Grade will again be piloted by Kane Kuenen while Peter Panagopolous will coach the G-Grade. Coaches are still being sought for the Brett Jones Colts and the E-Reserves.

The club’s growth will continue with a veterans team being established next season.

Some of the colts boys are having a run already, on Thursday evenings at 6pm at Glengarry Park, but pre-season training will officially begin on Tuesday, February 1 at Charles Riley Reserve.

At this stage, the season for the lower grades is scheduled to start on Saturday, April 2 while the A-Grade competitions will begin a week later.

The club takes this opportunity to wish everyone a Merry Xmas and propserous New Year and we look forward to catching up when the pre-season campaign kicks off.
