The WA team will be looking to replicate the performance of the 2006 side which went to Victoria and became only the second State combination to defeat Victoria at home.
Bollen and Dwyer are both home-grown products who graduated through the North Beach colts structure and have been key players in the club’s recent successes.
Bollen has blistering speed and when he missed most of last season with a knee injury, there is no doubt his absence hurt the prospects of the senior side which was looking for eight successive premierships, but had to be content with third place.
Dwyer is a tough in-and-under midfielder who works hard both ways and deserved a late call up to the squad.
Last year, North Beach had six players in the State team with three of them – Cale Potts, Joe Boys and Josh Stott earning all-Australian honours.
The selection of Bollen and Dwyer comes after Kade Golisano, for the second year in succession, represented the WA Amateur Colts.
