While most of their teammates will kick back this weekend and rest their aching bodies, three North Beach stars will represent their State.

Forwards Christian Bottechia, James Lee and Gordon “Freddie” Alone have all been selected in the West Coast Eagles-sponsored WA under-23 team which will play South Australia at Kingsway Reserve, starting at 6pm tomorrow.

The club would like to congratulate each of them on their selection and encourage clubs fans to support the boys in that game.

Bottechia has this year committed to play at North Beach after splitting his time with Subiaco in the previous couple of years, while Lee also had a stint with the Lions in the WAFL.

Alone has come to our club this year and is a lively small forward who has had an impact in his handful of games at the Beach. All three should benefit from the experience and hopefully bring those attributes to be key players for the club in the second half of the year.
